At Hauts de Sauliès, we take pride in our commitment to sustainability and ecology. Our values are at the heart of every action we take to provide our guests with an eco-friendly and enriching experience.
Pratiques Écologiques Intégrées
We implement a series of eco-friendly practices to minimize our impact on the environment:
- Water Management: We actively reduce our water consumption and use rainwater harvesting systems for our non-potable needs.
- Waste Management: Sorting and composting are integral parts of our practices to reduce and recycle our waste.
- Phytoremediation: Our predecessors chose to treat wastewater through phytoremediation.
- Renewable Energies: Our installations of photovoltaic and solar panels produce clean and renewable energy for part of our energy needs. The installation was doubled in 2024 and we have set up a battery to store part of our production to meet our deferred needs (night). For additional consumption, we have subscribed to a contract with a provider offering 100% green electricity.
- Charging stations for electric vehicles: We have just signed a contract with a partner based in the region to install 2 charging stations available to our residents in May 2024.
- Support for Local Agriculture : We prioritize local products, promoting short supply chains to source fresh and quality ingredients for our guest table. We have chosen to source directly from specialized farms in the surrounding area to offer high-quality products while keeping prices affordable.
- Awareness and Education: We share tips with our guests on how to reduce their environmental impact during their stay, thus promoting active awareness.
