A stately home dedicated to charm and well-being
A charming getaway in the heart of the Lot
Our bed-and-breakfast stands out for a range of amenities that are rare in the region: a heated pool, a fully equipped gym, massages, and high-quality local cuisine.
A mansion in the heart of the Lot region
Located in a historic stone mansion, built on the ruins of a castle dating back to 1720, it is situated in Vers, in the heart of the Causses Regional Park. Here you’ll discover a peaceful setting, far from the hustle and bustle, yet close to the region’s major tourist attractions such as Cahors, Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, the Pech Merle and Padirac caves, the sanctuary village of Rocamadour, the Zadkine Museum, and the castles of Cénevières, Castelnau-Bretenoux, and Saint-Laurent-les-Tours—all within 30 kilometers.
The 1.4-hectare park, with its century-old trees and sculptures by our predecessor, invites you to relax. Enjoy our 16-meter saltwater-heated pool and our fitness center, or relax in a hammock or on a lounge chair. The Causses du Quercy Regional Nature Park is also ideal for unforgettable hikes.
Our three spacious rooms, located on the first floor, combine old-world charm with modern comfort. Fully renovated in keeping with the spirit of the house, they feature exposed beams, stone walls, and carefully selected period décor. Each room features a private entryway, a bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a separate restroom, providing a private and comfortable space.
For your leisure time, a library is available in the house’s vaulted room.
The table d’hôtes is served in our historic dining room with exposed beams and stone walls, featuring a cantou and a period-style fireplace. Weather permitting, meals can be enjoyed on one of our terraces.
During the renovation, we made eco-friendly choices, such as installing solar panels for hot water, a wood-pellet heating system, a rainwater harvesting system, a constructed wetland treatment system, and a waste recycling program.
Finally, a private, secure parking lot equipped with charging stations for electric vehicles is available to you free of charge.
Here, you’ll find peace and tranquility, far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. A true haven of peace where you can recharge and fully relax.
The Dining Room
Step into our dining room with its historic charm, where weathered beams, stone walls, and period floor tiles create a warm atmosphere. Take a seat at our table d’hôtes or start your day with a gourmet breakfast in this unique setting. The central cantou, with its wood-burning stove, casts a soft glow and radiates pleasant warmth—perfect for cool mornings.
In the adjoining pantry, original features blend with modern amenities.
We make it a point of honor to prioritize local products, in partnership with regional producers and artisans. Our generous breakfasts celebrate local flavors: fresh fruit juice, coffee, a selection of teas, homemade sourdough bread, delicious pastries, homemade yogurts with unique flavors, artisanal jams, and, upon request, eggs, cheese, and organic charcuterie made from free-range Gascon Black pigs.

The Library

This peaceful, vaulted space, beautifully lit by a natural skylight, invites our guests to relax and escape into a picturesque library. Its vaulted ceiling lends a majestic aura, while an imposing stone fireplace takes center stage, evoking the grandeur of the past. Here you’ll discover a selection of books in French and English, offering a multicultural literary journey in the heart of this peaceful retreat.
A quiet, natural, and unspoiled environment
Les Hauts de Sauliès is set in a magnificent 1.4-hectare park, offering a natural and elegant setting. This green oasis is divided into three areas: a vibrant, colorful flower garden, a pool area, and a section dedicated to majestic bamboo. The garden, a veritable living painting, is dotted with sculptures by Jaïr Herculano, surrounded by century-old trees that provide shade and coolness in the summer.
Throughout the year, a variety of flowers bloom with the changing seasons. Among the trees, linden, chestnut, cedar, and bamboo create a peaceful atmosphere, where birds, bees, and crickets bring life to the days and evenings.
A stay with us immerses you in an experience of tranquility and well-being, as evidenced by our guests’ rave reviews. Don’t wait any longer to book and discover this unique place!

Heated pool and outdoor areas

Our saltwater pool is a true haven of relaxation in the heart of the park. At 16 meters long, with a flat bottom and a constant depth of 1.50 meters, it’s perfect for both swimming and relaxing.
It is available to our guests from 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., generally from mid-May to mid-September, subject to favorable weather and technical conditions. To ensure the best possible swimming experience, the water is heated when conditions permit, though no specific temperature is guaranteed.
Secured by a submerged cover, the pool is nestled in a quiet, unspoiled setting. Two areas furnished with lounge chairs invite you to fully enjoy the surroundings and the mild climate of the Quercy region.
For your convenience, pool towels are provided so you can travel light and enjoy your stay with peace of mind.
Fully Equipped Gym & Wellness Services
Fitness enthusiasts will find everything they need in our fitness area, which we generously share with our guests. Our gym and fitness center offers a variety of state-of-the-art equipment, available free of charge upon request.
You’ll find a complete selection, including treadmills, an exercise bike, and even a rowing machine, all ready to help you with your workout routine.
Don’t hesitate to take advantage of this opportunity! Just put on your workout clothes and shoes, and join us for a workout session. Our goal is for you to enjoy working out here—it’s far from a torture chamber; it’s an invitation to savor every movement and progress at your own pace.

“… An exceptional place! So peaceful! Right by the pool… a beautiful park with trees that are undoubtedly a hundred years old—or even older…”
