Cathédrale Saint-Etienne et son cloître – Temps de trajet : 5 min
La cathédrale Saint-Étienne est un édifice roman exceptionnel, l’un des rares à posséder deux coupoles byzantines monumentales. Son cloître attenant, véritable havre de paix, est un joyau de l’art gothique flamboyant.

Visite de la vieille ville
Les rues médiévales de Cahors, comme la rue du Docteur Bergougnoux ou la rue du Château du Roi, conservent de nombreuses maisons à étages typiques du Moyen Âge. Ces demeures polyvalentes associaient au rez-de-chaussée les activités artisanales et commerciales, et à l’étage noble l’habitation du propriétaire, souvent ornée de baies géminées ou à meneaux. Le lien direct entre la maison et la rue, marqué par les arcades et étals, illustre la vitalité marchande et urbaine du Cahors médiéval.

Musée Henri Martin – Temps de trajet : 2 min
Créé en 1833 et installé dans l’ancien palais épiscopal, le musée de Cahors Henri-Martin présente aujourd’hui près de 11 000 œuvres et objets issus de collections variées. Il abrite la plus importante collection publique d’œuvres d’Henri Martin, peintre postimpressionniste inspiré par les paysages du Quercy.
