When the sky becomes a spectacle

In this preserved haven, our charming guesthouse, nestled in the heart of the Quercy Black Triangle, invites you to embark on a unique celestial journey. A timeless experience where wonder meets well-being.

Quercy, a celestial sanctuary in the heart of the Lot

The Quercy Black Triangle is now recognized as one of the most preserved night skies in Western Europe. Thanks to the strong commitment of the Causses du Quercy Regional Natural Park and local communities, light pollution has been drastically reduced, offering exceptional nights.

Since 2021, this area has been classified as a “Starry villages and towns territory”, with 39 municipalities awarded, celebrating more than 20 years of efforts to protect the night sky.

Our tips for a successful starry night in the Lot

  • Best periods: May to October, with a peak during the Nights of the Stars in summer.
  • Avoid full moon nights, prefer new moon phases for total darkness.
  • Settle comfortably outdoors, away from light sources (we have dedicated areas).
  • Let us guide you in using our telescope or simply your eyes: here, the sky is so pure that the naked eye is enough to be amazed.

Respecting and preserving the night sky: our sustainable commitment

A certified and responsible approach

Certified Valeurs Parc Naturel Régional and Gîtes de France 4 épis, we fully integrate stargazing into a sustainable and responsible tourism approach. Our house is equipped with solar panels, a phyto-purification pond, an electric charging station, and all our outdoor lights are eco-designed to avoid light pollution.

Conscious wonder

Stargazing is also an act of awareness. Every evening, we share with our guests the challenges of protecting the night sky, nocturnal biodiversity, and the fight against light pollution.
