Common Sense Guidelines for Living Together
Dear guests,
We are delighted to welcome you to Les Hauts de Sauliès.
We had not originally planned to establish house rules, but experience has shown that a few simple reminders help ensure comfort, harmony, and serenity for everyone.
This document—probably unnecessary for most of you—is intended to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
Thank you for taking a moment to read it.
🍽️ Breakfast:
Breakfast is served from 9:00 to 10:00 in the dining room or on the terrace when the weather permits.
For hygiene reasons, meals may not be taken in the bedrooms.
🏊 Swimming Pool:
The pool is open from 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., depending on weather conditions.
This area is dedicated to relaxation: please respect the tranquility of other guests.
- The pool is not supervised: children must be accompanied by an adult at all times anywhere on the property.
- Depth is 1.50 m: diving is strictly prohibited.
- Please use pool towels only (bathroom towels are not allowed at the pool).
- To respect everyone’s peace and privacy, please avoid using your phone around the pool when other guests (or the owners) are present.
Important Note: Property owners and their families also reserve the right to use the pool and its facilities.
🔕 Quiet Hours:
For everyone’s rest, please respect the quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM for everyone’s rest.
🧺 Linen change (towels and bed sheets):
To balance comfort and environmental responsibility, towel and sheet changes are adapted to the length of your stay.
If you would like additional changes, please feel free to let us know.
🌱 Phyto-purification system:
Our wastewater treatment system relies on plants.
DO NOT FLUSH ANYTHING other than the toilet paper provided.
Bins are available for:
- sanitary products,
- wet wipes,
- tissues,
- any other non-soluble waste.
🏡 Use of Common Areas:
Common areas are available for all guests. Please leave them clean and tidy after use.
Children must be supervised by an adult in these spaces.
Smoking is strictly forbidden inside the buildings.
Outdoors, please smoke away from other guests and do not leave cigarette butts on the terraces or in the garden.
Important note: Common areas may not, under any circumstances, be privatized, for example by closing doors to restrict access to other residents.
📱 Mobile phones:
Mobile phones are welcome, but please move aside to make calls so as not to disturb other guests.
🛠️ Equipment:
Please take care of the equipment provided.
In case of damage or an accident, kindly inform us promptly—this allows us to act quickly and maintain comfort for everyone.
🔐 Security:
- Please keep your valuables secure; we decline all responsibility in case of loss or theft.
- Make sure windows and doors are locked when leaving your room.
- When leaving the house, please switch off all lights and keep your keys with you.
- Ensure that exterior doors are properly closed to prevent our pets from leaving the property.
♻️ Waste:
Please sort your waste and place recyclables in the designated bin located in the parking area.
🍳 Kitchen use:
The kitchen is reserved for breakfast preparation and table d’hôtes.
Feel free to contact us if you need to use the refrigerator.
Picnics are not permitted, indoors or outdoors.
👥 Visitors:
Our guesthouse and its facilities are exclusively reserved for registered guests.
It is not possible to invite external visitors (friends, relatives, etc.).
🔌Personal devices:
For safety reasons, the following may not be used or charged in the rooms:
- candles or incense,
- personal heating devices,
- batteries for electric bikes, scooters, and other high-capacity devices,
- heating appliances not provided by the property.
These items present a significant fire risk.
